Lisa and her mother go to the Laundromat. She takes Corduroy and puts him in a chair and tells him not to move. Lisa is busy and Corduroy disappears. Unable to find him, they go home, but her mother promises to bring her back the next day. Corduroy had gotten into someone’s laundry bag and had an adventurous soapy waterfall and a dryer ride. The man left Corduroy on a chair so the next day Lisa found him. He didn’t have a pocket so Lisa sewed one on for him. Includes Readalong CD and Book (available in both hardcover and paperback). |
